The event was planned and organised under the leadership of WBro Phil Miles, ProvSGW and Group Officer and WBro Tom Coles. Phil said “The most successful community contact was through a three-week advertising campaign on Facebook. We are delighted with the results.

Bro Phil, ably assisted by wife Jude, and members of all Lodges were on hand to answer questions from potential members, many accompanied by supportive family. Bros Swiggelaar and Douthwaite, both recent candidates and enthusiastic members, helped dispel some of the myths and mysteries of membership.

Not only did the day attract new members, but it also provided a chance for members of all four Lodges to mingle with other Huntingdon masons and support the Hall.
