The Masonic Bowls Association continues to maintain an imposing record of raising money for Charity and each year the monies accruing from the matches played are donated to selected good causes, including non-Masonic Charities. To date, the total donations contributed by the members amounts to £21,142.
Since the Covid epidemic, the Association has ceased to function primarily due to the loss of participants and the ill health of its President and Secretary.
When functioning, the fixture list comprises of the following:
- Indoor - 6 Cup or Trophy competitions.
- Outdoor - 5 Cup or Trophy competitions.
The Province continues to provide a team that competes in the national Masonic Annual Charity Event (M.A.C.E.).
Membership is open to all brethren (bowlers & non bowlers) in the Province. We welcome all new members of any standard to join the Association.
Interest is growing slowly, and It is hoped in the near future a resumption of competition will be possible.
