Lodge Groups and Group Officers

Folder Lodge Groups and Group Officers

Eight groups of lodges have been established to provide effective management and communication in the Province.

The primary role of a Group Officer is that of a friendly counsellor rather than an inspector. He acts in conjunction with his fellow Group Officers to provide a key means of communication between lodges in his group and the Provincial Executive.

The Group Officer is available to assist and advise the lodges in his group on any matter or difficulty over which they may approach him, or to tactfully and discreetly deal with any matter on which he may perceive there to be a difficulty.

Lodges are private and autonomous, so Group Officers do not interfere in the management of a Lodge. Instead they offer advice and guidance as and when requested.

The following document provides guidance for Group Officers (registered Mason users only):

Group Officer contact details are available in the Provincial Yearbook (registered Mason users only).
