Around 1,000 people filled the Cathedral to enjoy an uplifting evening of narrated lessons and magnificent choral music from the Cathedral Choir, alongside the opportunity for everyone to join in with familiar Christmas carols. The atmosphere was one of warmth, reflection and shared celebration.

The Provincial Grand Master RWBro Mark Constant is pleased to announce that WBro Steve James PPGReg, member of Cumton, Webb Ellis and Piscator Lodges has been appointed Group Officer for the Northampton Group from the 1st of January 2026. The Provincial Grand Master extends his thanks to WBro Mark Charteress as he moves into his new role in the Provincial Office.

Peterborough Women's Aid are the primary domestic abuse charity in the city and surrounding area, holding the Local Authority refuge contract with an 8 bed refuge plus a 3 bed NRPF (no recourse to public funds) refuge, and also run a women's centre in the city. They have staff co-located with the police and strong links with schools in the area.

Following the sad passing of WBro Owen Davison to the Grand Lodge above, the Masonic family across our Province and beyond came together to honour his memory in a way that reflected his generous spirit. Owen’s favoured charity, The Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, was chosen as the focus of our collective support.
