The Hollowell Steam and Heavy Horse Show was a wonderful day out, full of character, colour and plenty to see and do. From the moment visitors arrived, there was a friendly countryside atmosphere, with the sounds of steam engines, the sight of beautifully turned-out heavy horses, and the buzz of families enjoying the showground.
One of the real highlights was the impressive range of steam engines, vintage vehicles, tractors, classic cars and motorcycles on display. Each exhibit helped bring history to life, and there was always something interesting to stop and admire. The heavy horses were another favourite, showing both strength and elegance as they took part in the event.
There was plenty for all ages, with trade stalls, food and drink, fairground attractions and demonstrations helping to create a lively and welcoming show. Whether people came for the engines, the horses, the vintage displays or simply a relaxed day out, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Northampton Freemasonry were at the show, offering visitors the chance to discover more about Freemasonry in a relaxed and approachable way. The Discover Freemasonry gazebo and provincial Tuk Tuk proved to be a real talking point, attracting plenty of attention and encouraging many friendly enquiries from members of the public.

What made the event even more special was the strong community spirit behind it. The show is run with the support of many volunteers and helps raise money for local charities and good causes, giving the whole day a warm and meaningful purpose.
