In his work at the Northampton General Hospital, WBro Marc Pinion of Grey Friars Lodge No 4990, has seen at first hand the trauma suffered by children who need surgery and other treatment. To help alleviate this trauma, Marc organised the donation of two iPads for the use of young patients. These were purchased from the Lodge’s charitable funds (with help from the Provincial Grand Charity).

The iPads have been presented to Debbie Hill (Day Surgery Unit Theatre Manager) and Debbie Haynes (Ophthalmology Theatre Manager) by Grey Friars Lodge members, WBros Stuart Rose and Gerry Crawford.

We are grateful for the (TLC) teddies supplied by the Freemasons which help young patients get through difficult times in their lives. The gift of these iPads for the use of children coming into our Day Surgery Unit will be a further way of relieving the trauma they face. We and, I’m sure, their parents are very grateful for your generosity.
