Old Kimboltonians Lodge No. 7204 recently hosted a truly memorable evening, showcasing not only a well-delivered ceremony, but also the enduring strength of friendship and connection that Freemasonry continues to foster across Provincial boundaries.
The Lodge, which has long held a unique and distinguished place within the Masonic landscape, was proud to welcome a number of esteemed members and visitors for what proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable and uplifting occasion.
What made the evening particularly special was the presence of three senior Masons, each representing a different Province, yet all sharing membership of Old Kimboltonians Lodge. In attendance were WBro Ed Williams, Assistant Provincial Grand Master for Cambridgeshire, RWBro Mark Constant, Provincial Grand Master for Northamptonshire & Huntingdonshire, and WBro Martin Wilson, Deputy Provincial Grand Master for Bedfordshire.
To see three Chains from three different Counties, all united through their membership of Old Kimboltonians Lodge, was a powerful and symbolic reminder of the reach and unity of Freemasonry. It was a moment that reflected the very best of our Order — friendship, shared values, and the bonds that transcend geography.
The ceremony itself was delivered to a high standard and was enjoyed by all present, with the Lodge room filled with warmth, support and a strong sense of occasion. It was also especially encouraging to see such a fantastic turnout from the Light Blues, whose presence brought great energy to the evening and demonstrated the continued enthusiasm and engagement of newer and younger members within the Craft.
Old Kimboltonians Lodge continues to be a wonderful Lodge to visit — one rich in character, tradition and camaraderie — and this latest meeting was a fine example of all that it represents.
