Across the Province, we are already making a significant difference to our communities in a range of activities. Much of this work happens quietly and often goes unseen beyond the immediate community it serves. In 2026, I want to strengthen how we deliver our Community Engagement strategy across the Province.
To do that effectively, I need a clearer understanding of the skills, experience and volunteering activity that already exists within our membership.

This is not just about future involvement. It is also designed to help me understand:
- The breadth and depth of volunteering already taking place
- The professional skills and experience within the Province
- Where our strengths lie and where additional support may be needed
Community Engagement increasingly involves event coordination, partnership working, communications, health awareness initiatives, and community collaboration. Identifying members who may be willing to assist, whether occasionally or more regularly, will help us deliver Community Engagement more effectively.
Completing the survey does not commit you to volunteering, and, as a member, there is absolutely no obligation on you to volunteer unless you wish to do so. It simply allows me to build a clearer picture of our collective capability and match opportunities appropriately.
