The Installation meeting of St Johns Lodge No. 3972 was held at Sheaf Close on Monday, 20th October. The Lodge had the distinct honour of welcoming the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Mark Constant, who was accompanied by WBro Ian Wilson, the Provincial Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies.
During the meeting, WBro Rueben Freeman conducted the installation of Bro Mario Antoniou into the Chair of King Solomon. The ceremony was an impressive spectacle, clearly reflecting the significant effort and dedication that had been invested in preparing for the evening.
Following the formal proceedings, attendees enjoyed a festive board, which lived up to expectations and provided a fitting conclusion to the ceremony. During his reply, the Provincial Grand Master introduced WBro Simon Walmsley to the Lodge. WBro Walmsley, who serves as the RCG6 representative for the University Scheme, proceeded to deliver an informative summary regarding all matters related to the University Scheme. His remarks were well received by the brethren present.
The evening proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable occasion for all who attended. Warm congratulations were extended to WBro Antoniou on achieving the Chair of King Solomon, together with best wishes for a happy and healthy year ahead for him and all Lodge members.
