This afternoon the Provincial Grand Master attended the official opening of Maggie’s Northampton a project from start to finish that has taken over 12 years.
With very many donors who made the desire for a Maggie’s in Northampton a reality.
Dianna Russell a member of the Fitz family and well known lady racing driver in the 60’s was the main influential benefactor and the centre has been named in her honour.
Her son flew from America to address the opening.
If people want to know more join us at Installed Masters on the 29th when we will be receiving a talk on the work of Maggie’s Centres.
The PGM is pictured with Liz Summers and Jodie Mutch who will be speaking to us at Installed Masters on Wednesday 29th and are very much looking forward to telling us about both Northampton and Addenbrooks Maggie’s and the positive impact it has on patients and their families.
