Old Time Music Hall returned to Corby Masonic Centre on Sunday the 19th of April as part of the Pro Musica Lodge Ladies Festival Lunch.
John Harvey chaired in the style of Leonard Sachs, ably assisted by Lodge Wardens Jeremy Bush and Sonny Sunderland. A welcoming introduction by Mike Gorrod, well known throughout the Province for his measured, masterful and mellifluous manner, set the scene before the Chairman introduced for our delectation and delight a wonderful whirlpool of entertainment from the sublime to the ridiculous.
Barmy, boisterous, bathetic and bawdy, the spirit of Music Hall lives on in Corby, thanks to John Harvey and the Festival Secretary & Treasurer Brian Chambers …….. but Chiefly Ourselves!
