Lodge Mentoring Officers from Huntingdon Group met over a breakfast bacon roll and tea on Saturday under the knowledgeable leadership of Provincial Grand Mentor, WBro Alex Thomson and Huntingdon Group Mentor Liaison Officer, W Bro John Pilbeam.

WBro Phil Miles, Huntingdon Group Membership Officer gave a short introduction to the Membership Officers within the Members’ Pathway and highlighted the importance of the Lodge Membership Team all working together as part of the integrated strategy. It’s vital all Lodge members know the part they must play in attracting and engaging new members and supporting and retaining inactive members. It’s not just a one-man job!

Lodges gave progress reports, shared ideas and best practises before departing  with renewed vigour to promote active mentoring practises within the Group.

To end the session, WBro Greg Warman, Group Officer introduced Light Blues double act ‘Tom and Gerry’, Bros Tom Williams and Gerry McCrory, who gave an enthusiastic talk about the work of the N&H New and Young Mason Club and the importance of keeping touch with Brethren and potential members during the summers recess.
