Hearty congratulations are due to Gerald Davies.

Having battled through 86-days of wind and rain with just a little sunshine, Gerald has displayed limitless tenacity and resolve by completing his 1,323-mile solo walk to raise funds for the 2024 MCF Festival.

After starting at Land's End on the 1st of March 2022 (link), he finally arrived at John O'Groats on the 26th of May.

Reflecting on his challenge, Gerald said:

This is something that has always been on my bucket list. I’ve always wanted do the Land’s End to John o’ Groats walk. I didn’t take the most direct route because I wanted to take in sights and places I’ve always wanted to visit. It's been difficult at times but I’m pleased to have now done it.
