Aimi carries the Olympic Torch in Sheffield

The Most Excellent Grand Superintendent was bursting with fatherly pride when his daughter Aimi was nominated to carry the Olympic Torch in Sheffield in early July.

She was nominated for holding down her rather demanding job with George at Asda whilst nursing her son, Alfie, through three years of leukaemia treatment with all the various disruptions that went with it.

Aimi's custody of the Torch made a great day out for the whole Williams family.
