It is with profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of George Heys, Chairman of Peterborough Masonic Hall Ltd and a longstanding Freemason, on Sunday 14th June 2026.
W.Bro George has been associated with Peterborough Masonic Hall for many years, and took over leadership following the passing of Norman Manser, in 2022. He continued to be an integral member of the leadership and management of the centre, with his dedication and commitment to ensuring that it remained viable, on behalf of its members and Lodges.
W.Bro George was initiated into Freemasonry in 1974, and was a member of St Wilfrid's Lodge in Oundle, as well as Schola Regia, Thomas Deacon and Nantahala in Peterborough. He was also a PProvSGW.
Our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.
