A very special event took place on Saturday 20th September 2025 at Sheaf Close, when Cervisia Lodge No 10032 held a meeting to receive The Provincial Deputy Grand Master, VW Bro Tim Almond, together with members of the Banner Dedication team.
The Provincial Grand Master very kindly agreed to allow us to hold our banner dedication as a white table event with the bonus of allowing non-masons into the temple to witness the actual Banner Dedication.
The banner dedication was attended by 103 Brethren and guests in the Lodge room, which included Bro Rachel Davison Order of Womens Freemasons Enterprise Lodge No 80.
The Dedication Ceremony of the new Cervisia Lodge Banner was then conducted by the Provincial team in a wonderful manner, with the DPGM VWBro Tim Almond as the dedicating officer and the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies WBro Roger Blason conducting proceedings.
The Provincial Grand Chaplain WBro Aaron Day acted as the dedicating chaplain and gave an excellent oration (with adverts!).
After the ceremony, guests were invited to the festive board where a truly memorable event ensued. Members of Cervisia making sure that the brethren and guests glasses, were always charged, with ALE of course, entertainment was kindly provided by WBro Reuben Freeman.
A truly memorable day was had by all, and what made it even more special was that Bro Michael Wrighton signed the whole ceremony and toasts at the festive board for several hearing-impaired people that attended.
“Brotherhood and Beer” at its finest.
