The recent Huntingdon Carnival provided the perfect opportunity for Huntingdon Group Officers, John Clark, Ged Dempsey, Phil Miles, and John Napper, to connect with the local community and showcase the positive role of Freemasonry. Embracing the summer weather, they actively engaged with eventgoers throughout the day.
The Discover Freemasonry stand was visited by the Town Mayor, Audrey McAdam, who took a genuine interest in the group’s activities and learned more about how Freemasonry contributes to the community. Ged Dempsey offered further insight by highlighting the work of the Three Pillars project, which provides essential support to the homeless.
The outcome was three potential candidates for follow-up and an invitation to participate in the next Armed Forces Day, thus deepening ties within the wider community.
