WBro Alex was initiated into Lodge of St Paul No. 6516 (which meets at Kettering) in 2004. He was subsequently installed as Worshipful Master in 2013, and has served as Treasurer and Assistant Secretary.

The Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes, has been pleased to confirm the appointment of WBro Alex Willis as the new Local Communications Officer for Kettering and Thrapston.

WBro Alex was initiated into Lodge of St Paul No. 6516 (which meets at Kettering) in 2004. He was subsequently installed as Worshipful Master in 2013, and has served as Treasurer and Assistant Secretary.

Alex is currently Junior Warden in Rockingham Forest Lodge No. 9491. He is also a member of Perseverance Chapter No. 455.

Alex's career included 25-years as a Ford dealership Master Technician followed by 10-years as a Motor Vehicle Lecturer at Tresham College, Kettering. He retired in 2014.

Alex has been married to his wife, Gail, for over 25 years. His many interests include country sports, gun-dog training, flying, amateur radio, and golf. He particularly enjoys boating holidays and has undertaken various roles as a member of Middle Nene Cruising Club (MNCC).

WBro Alex replaces WBro Neil Langford, who is retiring from the role after several successful years. WBro Peter Robinson, Provincial Communications Officer, said:
