During the summer of 2017, a great deal of work was carried out at Wellingborough Masonic Hall to greatly enhance the dining area.

This involved repainting, moving the entrance door, and installation of swing doors to the kitchen and a sprung floor for the dance area.

In addition to a new ceiling, new lighting and air conditioning has been installed, and the honours-boards have been rearranged. The fireplaces have been reopened as features, and have large decorative mirrors above.

The newly refurbished hall has already been used for several successful ladies-night functions and bi-monthly Sunday lunches have been introduced.

In addition to Masonic functions, the hall is available for private hire. Indeed, several local Masons have already taken advantage of this to hold birthday parties on the premises.

The excellent catering of chef Justine has contributed to the increased popularity of the hall and a portfolio of regular events is steadily developing as a result.

Feedback has been very positive, and many patrons have expressed their grateful thanks to the members of Wellingborough Masonic Hall House Committee, who made it all possible.
